Around Puketutu Island as part of the Manukau Coastal Walkway, Watercare Services installed a bridge deck using EnduroplankTM and a set of customised bench seats - all made of recycled plastic.
Here's what the contractor had to say:
"We at HEB Landscapes found this product very easy to deal with on our recently installed boardwalk at M.W.W.T.P. It was reasonably easy to install and being recycled plastic, normal problems encountered with timber were of no issue.
The finished product looks great and is a point of difference on the project from the traditional timber bridges. The two things I like most about the product is that it is made from recycled material and the long life expected from the product."
